There is so much to see and do in Manchester it’s hard to know where to start! From shopping and clubbing to culture and learning; from theatre and dining to working and sports, it’s all available in Manchester.

Always a centre of excitement and change, the city could be said to have been the epicentre of the Industrial Revolution one legacy of which is some fabulous architecture, creatively reused and displayed to its best advantage in these cleaner and greener times, giving the city itself a great look.

If football is your thing you cannot fail to be aware of both of the famous Manchester teams, not to mention the many other local teams in the surrounding area. The National Velodrome and other sporting venues are here as a legacy of the 2002 Commonwealth Games; Test Cricket visits the home of Lancashire Cricket at Old Trafford and Victoria Park apartments are convenient for all of these.

If you’re the outdoor, exploring type set as it is, right at the hub of some of the most wonderful and spectacular scenery and coastline in the UK, Manchester does not disappoint. Taking the spectacular Manchester Town Hall as a starting point, The Peak District National Park is an hour to the South, The Dales National Park an hour to the North, and a further twenty minutes drive north sees the Lake District opening up before you!
